It has an Ice mother with origins in Afghani, Skunk, Northern Lights, and Shiva, while the father is Jack Herer, a three-way hybrid between Northern Lights, Skunk, and Haze. AK-48 combines the best traits of each parent, like the trichome-covered, dense flowers from Ice, and heavy resin, unique flavor, and early finish of Jack Herer.
AK-48 is fast-finishing, has dense, rock hard buds with an aroma that carries itself. AK-48 retains the great Sativa qualities in its high even though it is mostly Indica. It can finish as early as 7 weeks if grown perfectly, but expect most plants to finish around 9 weeks.
AK-48 grows best in soil with organic fertilizer to promote the best flavors. This strain is perfect for a sea of green garden, and is recommended to plant 16 plants per square meter, then trimming each plant to about 6 branches and the top to optimize your yield and bud consistency. Ak-48 will grow into a medium sized plant that will become twice as tall if the flowering stage is induced at around 20 inches. It has small, thin and delicate leaves, which represent the Indica in her genes. You can grow AK-48 outdoors well in climates that are similar to Spain where it will finish in October.
